Pindler & Pindler is proud to announce an unprecedented six-year licensing with the Preservation Society of Newport County (RI).  The Preservation Society of Newport County represents more than 250 years of social and architectural history in the city that was America's First Resort.

According to Curt Pindler, president of Pindler & Pindler, the Society contacted him to see if he had an interest in producing an exclusive line of fabrics based on the historic "Newport Mansions®."  Authentic pre-20th century woven textiles featuring Belle Époque will inspire the collection.  The society has generously opened its archives featuring authentic period textile documents.  The challenge will be in translating these superbly maintained documents into beautiful designs suitable for the 21st century home.  The first collection, scheduled to be launched Spring 2003, will be the cornerstone for the development of future collections within this prestigious program.
