Tashkent is a multipurpose embroidery design, inspired by an antique hand-embroidered circa 1880 Suzani from Uzbekistan, found in the textile archives of Doris Duke. Tashkent is a colorful reproduction of this beautiful Suzani design, embroidered onto a hand-loomed 100% cotton ground. Tashkent is an Eastern European inspired design utilizing a bold large scale for authentic drama.
